“Sokoto has only one flight to complete its return trip while FlyNas also has only one flight to conclude its 2018 airlift of Nigerian pilgrims,” she said.

The commission also warned all pilgrims on the danger of including prohibited items, not only in their hand luggage but also in their 32kg main luggage.

“This call became necessary following discoveries made during an unscheduled visit to pilgrims’ luggage screening bay, where some bags were found with prohibited items that could compromise safety of passengers,” she said.
