A 22-years-old man, Ayuba Enuope, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment without an option of a fine by Magistrate Abdullahi Ahmed Boro in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Enuope was dragged to court for offences bordering on criminal trespass, housebreaking and theft by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara Command.

Inspector Mumini Tanba prosecuted him on behalf of the corps.
According to the charge sheet, Ayuba was said to have broken into the house of Mr Jimoh Adigun at General Hospital Road, Kaiama, carting away five bundles of 50kg of sacks for storage and handling of various commodities.
“He was arrested by the operatives of the NSCDC while he was trying to dispose of the stolen materials”, the sheet added.
While speaking further on the issue with Daily Trust on Saturday, the command spokesman, Ayeni Olasunkami said, “Further investigations revealed that the convict is a serial house breaker who recently stole two Android phones from Mr Abdulrasaq’s residence in Kuokuo area, Kaiama.”
