22 killed, 99 injured in Edo auto crashes

No fewer than 22 persons were killed and 99 others injured in road accidents that happened across Edo State in January, 2024.

The Edo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Paul Okpe, who disclosed this to journalists, said the 22 persons died, while 99 were injured in 30 accidents that occurred across the state in January.

Okpe attributed the accidents to brake failure, over-speeding, driving against traffic, drunk driving, use of phone, among others.
