Abdurahman Mainasara Dala, Chairman of a group known as PDP One Family, has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would takeover Kano and Nigeria in 2027.

Mainasara was speaking immediately after the party’s stakeholders’ meeting which held in Kano on Sunday.

He said the All Progressives Congress (APC) had disappointed Nigerians, calling on the leadership of the party to give youth more chance.

Mainasara said, “Youth have a lot to contribute to the growth of the PDP at every level. I am sure youth have the ability to take the party to the promise land. We are calling on youth from every region of this country to come forth. The PDP has the answer the economic hardship Nigerians are going through.
“The PDP will takeover Kano State and Nigeria in 2027. This stakeholders’ meeting is one of the strategies we are adopting to achieve this aim. The crises within the party will be resolved soon and the PDP will emerge stronger and takeover the country.
“This is one of the reasons we come up with PDP One Family to remove the decisions with the PDP and ensure very member feels at home.”

Speaking, the secretary of the party in Kano State, Bello Gambo Bichi,  said the party’s stakeholders met to analyse the challenges and proffer solutions.

He said, We have gone through so many stages from the time we lost election in 2015. After we lost election a lot of things happened and now Nigerians have realized their mistakes and learnt that the PDP is the solution. Look at the level of insecurity in the country. Now people are abducted carelessly and ransoms are paid carelessly. Nigeria is almost on its knees now.”

However, Ibrahim Aminu Daniya, the spokesperson of the party in Kano State, said every party in the country is experiencing external crisis, saying the PDP is now after unity.

He said, “The door is open for very Nigerian to join this party. This chance is not restricted to our former memebers alone. Therefore we are calling on any person willing to join us to that right away.”

Daniya said that the PDP is carefully observing the “blunders” the NNPP in Kano State and the APC at the national level, saying the party would make its position public on that soon.
