The 100 percent Focus Movement, a group of emerging young Northern leaders, has urged all Nigerians to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for power shift to the southern part of the country and for rapid national development.
National coordinator of the movement, Labib Abdullahi Mahmood, made the call in Abuja at a roundtable and launch as part of activities to garner support for Tinubu’s presidential aspiration. According to him, it is in the interest of all Nigerians that Tinubu should be elected president in 2023, especially with his track-record in politics and business.
“It is a long journey that we started over time, as social entrepreneurs, we identify community problems and try to solve them. We realise that the challenging gap is leadership. This is why we focused on Asiwaju Tinubu, having seen his capacity and what he can offer,” he said.
He also said that Tinubu has the experience to tackle the challenges confronting the country.
