The Coalition of Civil Society on Good Governance (CCSG) has said it will mobilise Nigerians to vote for a 2023 presidential candidate with the capacity to fix the nation’s economy, end insecurity and deliver the dividend of democracy to the people.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday in Abuja, the convener of the coalition, Comrade Okpanachi Jacob and Secretary, Comrade Dahiru Al-Mustapha, said Nigeria needed a competent president that would reboot and tackle the challenges bedevilling the nation.

Okpanachi, who decried the spate of kidnapping and killings in the country, called for a well-calculated approach to tackle the situation.
He said zoning of the presidency to the North or South was not necessary but the candidate’s capacity to deliver good governance to the masses.
“The major content of our project is first; competence, capacity and the ability to deliver Nigeria from the economic shackles that we are going through. We are not fronting for any individual.
“Our campaign is not devoid of other attendant political and social engineering that will reshape the system towards achieving these goals,” he said.
