The national president of the Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Pastor S. E. Igwe, has called on Christians to participate actively in the forthcoming general elections and vote based on their conscience.

The cleric made the call at the end of the church’s 19th national convention in Abuja on Sunday.

Pastor Igwe advised voters to critically examine the candidates and make their choice devoid of any sentiment.

He also used the occasion to inaugurate the new leadership of the church in the FCT, led by Pastor I. S. Udoinyang as FCT Field Superintendent.
