A former speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Aminu Shagali, has said the ongoing face-off between Senator Uba Sani (APC, Kaduna Central) and the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Yusuf Zailani, will affect the party in 2023.
Shagali who represents Sabon Gari Constituency at the assembly, while urging the duo to reconcile, explained that as party members, they should come together, reason together and stand by the governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai.

According to him, the governor has raised the bar of leadership in the state, hence the ongoing transformation in it.
“There is no need for the senator and the speaker to quarrel over any issue at all. What Uba Sani has achieved in office so far is unprecedented in the history of Kaduna Central senatorial zone.
“The Speaker, Yusuf Zailani, should understand that leadership is all about cohesion. They don’t need to quarrel,” he said
He urged both of them to work hand in hand for the progress of the party and the state, and not cause confusion.
