Thousands of youths trooped to the streets of Kano, on Sunday, in solidarity with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
They marched from Kano Emir’s Palace to Government House, from where they headed for the main event at race course.
The event, themed: “One Million March for Tinubu” under the leadership of the state coordinator of the Tinubu Support Group, Baffa Babba Danagundi, got different youth groups across the 36 local government areas of the state in attendance.
Speaking at the event, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said with the mammoth crowd witnessed, it’s a clear impression that Tinubu has already won Kano.
“Tinubu has already won Kano state and will win Nigeria God’s willing. We assure you that our party is solid and intact, our party has no discrepancies or conflict. We are determined as a peaceful and united party in the state.
“We assure you that there will be free and fair election in Kano state. There will be no fighting, no quarrelling and we are in synergy with other parties for a free and fair campaign and elections in Kano state.”
Ganduje added that his administration would soon invite all gubernatorial candidates in the state for a dinner.
