The Director-General of North-East Tinubu Ambassadors Network, Bakoji Bello Badara, has asked stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to compensate the national leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by giving him the 2023 presidential ticket to run.
Badara said Tinubu had helped the north clinch the presidency in 2015 and should equally be supported to win the 2023 presidency.

He argued that for the purpose of justice, equity and fair play, APC stakeholders should field Tinubu for the election, saying he is the most popular political bigwig among the contenders.
“I knew what Tinubu did to bring President Muhammadu Buhari to power. He came to the table and negotiated with six governors from the northwest when they were trying to amalgamate and form the APC. But because the man is very humble, he still said the north should have it. He backed Buhari not only by his influence in the south, but he also backed Buhari by finance. Now that the North would be finishing its eight years by 2023, it is only fair that the North equally back Tinubu for the 2023 presidency. I believe that whether it’s direct primaries, indirect primaries or consensus, Tinubu will scale through. He is a person that has a big heart. He can’t just be hidden in one corner in this country,” he said.
