The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has described himself as a youth.
Tinubu made the comment amid the clamour for young persons to take power.

Affirming that he has the energy to lead the country, Tinubu said he is capable of serving Nigeria and making the country great.
He told his supporters at a recent gathering that the APC will continue to protect the interest of Nigerians, home and abroad.
“I’m here standing before you… and I’m a youth,” Tinubu declared as his supporters cheered.
Ahead of the 2023 elections, Nigerian youths have been agitating that a younger person should take over from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Addressing this when he visited a South West monarch earlier in the month, Tinubu had said he wants the youths to be president of Nigeria, but that would happen after he has served as the president.
“If you become the President, you want to chase us from the streets? You’ll become old and be president but after me,” Tinubu had said.
Born on March 26, 1952, Tinubu will celebrate his 70th birthday in a few weeks.
