As part of measures to ensure a violence free 2023 general elections, the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) and the Centre for Peace Advocacy Development (CPAD) have taken a campaign to police and motor parks in Abuja.

 Speaking when the organizations visited the FCT commissioner of police’s office and Jabi Motor Park in Abuja, the country representative of the GPF Nigeria, Rev John Joseph Hayab, said the campaign was to ensure that the motor parks were safe for travelers before, during and after the 2023 general elections.

 Also speaking, the leader of the CPAD, Austin Ogeche, said they were working with the GPF to actualise the aim.

 The CP represented by the officer in charge of Rapid Response Squad (RRS), ACP Aminu Garba, said they will collaborate with any credible organization for a peaceful election in 2023.

 Responding, the Berger Branch 1 Chairman in Jabi Park, Ahmed Olaiya, said that with everybody’s contribution, peace would reign in the country.
