2023: Ebira monarch’s son, Malik Ado-Ibrahim wins YPP presidential ticket

A son of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland in Kogi State, Prince Malik Ado-Ibrahim, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP).

A businessman and founder of the Reset Nigeria Initiative, Prince Malik, with 66 votes defeated his closest rival, Mrs. Ruby Isaac who garnered 4 votes.

 While there were 74 accredited delegates, only 70 voted.

 In his acceptance speech, Ado-Ibrahim, urged Nigerians to put away religious and ethnic diversity for collective development.
