2023: Church charges members to get PVCs, vote competent leaders

Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Dakibiyu District, Kubwa Branch, Abuja, has sensitized its members to get their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVCs) in order to vote the best and competent candidates in all positions in subsequent elections.

Addressing journalists, Senior Pastor of the church, Alex Ogundipe, said this was done in commemoration of its 17 years Founder’s Day Celebration.

“We discovered that some of our members don’t want to participate in the electoral process, they feel that they don’t want to vote because their votes do not count. We have sensitized them; we have encouraged them to go out and get their PVCs so that we as a Church can participate in ushering a good government in the country.

“The next time something is going to happen in this country for good. We should keep praying and God has confirmed it. It is going to be good. The changes will come but let all of us carry our cards. We shouldn’t fold our arms and be in dispute that nothing can happen. It can’t change. It will change with our PVCs,” Ogundipe said.

The cleric said religion does not matter in leadership, rather “it has to do with their own minds, the kind of human beings they are, their values and what they know. So, it has nothing to do with religion. It is for us to seek the face of God to help us with anyone God’s mind is on to put there.”

“The electorate should just find out who that person is and vote on the basis of the character of the individual and that is why we are helping our members to get their voters’ card.”

While praying for the peace and stability of the nation, he asked for God’s intervention.
