The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has unveiled a 385 member campaign council ahead of the 2023 governorship election in the state.
Unveiling the campaign council in Lafia, the state capital on Saturday, the chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, said Buhari is committed to the safety and security of the country.

He said the APC-led administration under President Buhari is also committed to the revitalisation of agriculture and diversification of the economy of the country.
Gambari, who inaugurated the campaign council on behalf of President Buhari said, “President Buhari is committed to leaving a very much safer and prosperous country where probity and transparency is the key.”
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Governor Abdullahi Sule thanked the chief of staff to President Buhari for accepting to inaugurate the campaign council.
Earlier, the national chairman of the ruling APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, urged all the party stakeholders and the citizens of the state to ensure they vote only their candidates, both at the state and national levels in the forthcoming general elections.
