Princess Rukaiya Abubakar, the wife of a former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has assured women and youths in the country of a prominent place in government if the candidate of the party emerges as the next president.
The wife of the former Vice President called on women and youths to support and ensure the emergence of her husband as the president of the country in February 2023.

Atiku and the Delta State Governor, Mr Ifeanyi Okowa, are flying the flag of the PDP in the election.
At a campaign rally in the northwest zone, which was held in Kano, she said the lives of women and youths would be safe when the party takes charge of the country’s affairs.
According to her, girl-child education will be given urgent attention.
She welcomed the wives of the northwest gubernatorial candidates and encouraged them to work for the victory of the party in the election.
“I welcome the wives of northwest gubernatorial candidates of the PDP who are present here and I assure you of their commitments to ensure the lives of women and their children are safe and improved.
“The lives of women and youths would be more valuable when we get into the villa in 2023.
“We will improve girl child education, create jobs and eradicate poverty in Nigeria. I urge all of you to cast your vote for PDP.”
