2023: Again, Peter Obi, Obasanjo meet in Ogun

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Monday met  with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Our correspondent reports that this is the second time Obi met with Obasanjo in Abeokuta within two months.
The latest meeting came barely 24 hours after Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed visited former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, at his home in Minna, Niger State.
The duo had equally paid a visit to another former Head of State,  General   Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, also in Minna.
In July, Obi along side Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party (LP) National Chairman, Julius Abure, and the Senior Pastor, Trinity House Church, Ituah Ighodalo, visited Obasanjo at his penthouse residence located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta.
The LP candidate via his Twitter handle disclosed his visit to Obasanjo which he hinged on the matter of national interest.
“I deeply appreciate the opportunity to hold extensive discussions with President Olusegun Obasanjo earlier today on arising national interest matters. As usual, the exchanges were forthright and animated. -PO,” he twitted.
