The 4th National anti-corruption marathon race initially scheduled for October 1, 2022 has been postponed till October 15, 2022.

This was made known by the chief host, Chief Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Hon. Abimbola Ayo Yusuf during a press briefing in Abuja where he was represented by the commission’s secretary, Philip Enyali.

It will be recalled that in August, the chief host alongside other relevant stakeholder officially flagged-off the registration of the partners, participants, volunteers preparatory to the race.

“In the unalloyed spirit in the service to our great country Nigeria towards her wellness and betterment, Public Complaints Commission wants to sincerely assure all and sundry once again that the 4th National Anti-Corruption Marathon Race 2022 is still very much in focus and it shall take place as rescheduled on Saturday 15th October, 2022 in Eagles Square, Abuja,” he said.

In his own remarks, Mr Jacob Onu, National Coordinator of the National Anti-Corruption Marathon Race said the race was postponed because of national events.

“We are postponing this race as we didn’t want it to clash with other national events that will take place at the Eagles Square,” he noted.

The star prize winner will smile to the bank with N1m, the first and second runners-up will get N700,000 and N500,000 each respectively.
