2021 World Children Day: UNICEF hands over Kano office to children for two hours

The United Nation International Children Emergency Fund (IMF) Field Office in Kano on Monday handed over its affairs for two hours to a group of 22 children, led by 15-year old Saudat Ahmad Wakil.

The hand over was organised to commemorate the 2021 World Children Day, celebrated every November 20, to provide an opportunity for the participating children to learn about the organisation.

During their stay on the helms of the fund’s Field Office, the children deliberated and shared ideas with UNICEF as to what they consider to be the solutions to the issues that affect them, including those in the Changing Childhoods Study Report.
