The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Oye, has said that a former Deputy National Secretary of the party, Chief Jerry Obasi, should be arrested by the Police for impersonation, as he has been expelled from the party.
Chief Obasi, at a press conference on Friday in Abuja, under the auspices of Authentic All Progressives Grand Alliance (AAPGA) has asked Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, to resign as governor and chairman, Board of Trustee of APGA for endorsing President Muhammadu Buhari for the 2019 elections.
But Chief Oye told Daily Trust last night on telephone that, Obasi is an impersonator, who in any way cannot speak for the party.
“Obaji was on 21st December, 2016, expelled alongside some others for anti-party activities. He is a lunatic and cannot talk about the party. they should be arrested by the Police. They are not our member,” Oye said.
