2019 Peace Achievers Award: Wike leads Okowa, others in close race for title

The search through the merit-driven award recognition of 2019 Peace Achievers Awards for Governor of the Year on Peace and Security, may have geared into a new development as voting from the nationwide nominations for Governors have been counting in massively on the official website and Facebook page.

According to the on-going voting results published on the official site of the organising agency, the nominees may have done quite well as Nigerians are devoting their time and resources to vote a Governor, who will emerge as the “Governor of Year on Peace and Security” at the 2019 Peace Achievers Awards.

From statistical analysis, the results have shown that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Rivers state, Nyesome Wike may emerge winner, as he has the leading record of over 74 per cent vote, ahead of Sen. Dr. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the Executive Governor of Delta state.

Other nominated Governors in the race are His Excellency John Olukayode Fayemi, Executive Governor of Ekiti State; His excellency Dr. Victor Okezie Ikpeazu, Executive Governor of Abia State and His Excellency Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, Executive Governor of Jigawa State.
