Dr Cairo Ojougboh, a major contender in the Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries has debunked rife insinuations that he betrayed the Delta North agitation and has accepted to become the running mate to Chief Great Ogboru.
In a statement signed his Media Team, headed by Emmanuel Ojeme and made available to Daily Trust Monday, Dr. Ojougboh averred that he was not and will not becoming a deputy governorship aspirant or candidate.
“We are making it clear for the interest of the public and unsuspecting APC family, that there is no discussion or any arrangement of Such. This only exist in the imagination of people not known to him.
“Dr Cairo Ojougboh is not a Deputy Governor aspirant or candidate and can never be interested”, the statement declared.
It continued: “Dr Cairo Ojougboh distances self from such and has asked the general public to jettison such rumours as his only disposition now is how the party can pull together in one accord, resolve all the lingering differences and have a lasting peace so as to face the upcoming general elections as one family and come out victorious.”
