Ahead of the 2019 general elections, electoral officers have been advised to listen to all grievances by stakeholders.

Orebiyi spoke in Lagos during an experience-sharing workshop organised for electoral officers by INEC.

In his presentation, Orebiyi who spearheaded the conduct of the 2015 elections in Lagos, said events leading to the conduct of the elections were laced with tension.

He said it took rigorous confidence building and engagement with relevant stakeholders to douse the tension.

“We should never shut out our doors on complainants,” he said.
