“We know that South-East people, the Igbos are industrious; we don’t play trick on ourselves, we tell ourselves the truth.

“We understand that election has a lot to do with our failure or success in our businesses.

“People say that the Igbos are the white men in Nigeria who love their jobs and what they do for a living.

“If we don’t vote for our votes to count, whoever that becomes the leader of this country may come up with policies that will make us or destroy us and our businesses.

“So, this is one of the reasons why we should vote massively in 2019 general elections,” he said.

Uzoma stated that 85 per cent of Igbos were businessmen, adding that “we all know that the private sector drives the economy but we overlook this fact in this country.

“All crisis and cry from the people is as a result of hunger but if we all are busy driving the economy, every Nigerian will be happy and our children will have trust and hope in our country,” he said

He called on Igbo politicians and leaders to stop trading with their brothers to enable them drive development in the region.

He urged the media to be factual in their report and work for the growth of the country.

Uzoma promised to sustain the unity in the group “to make it a point of reference for all Igbo communities or groups and achieve the course of Igbo race. (NAN)
