The Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), Chief Eze Duruiheoma has assured that persons displaced as a result of insurgency would be captured during the population and housing census exercise slated for next year.
Duruiheoma stated this yesterday at a training on elementary sampling techniques in Mararaba, Nasarawa State.
He expressed optimism that the internally displaced persons would have returned to their homes as the insurgency must have been curtained before the commencement of the exercise.
Admitting that the commission was yet to receive a go-ahead from the Presidency less than two months to the census year, the NPC boss reiterated the determination of the commission in conducting the exercise as scheduled.
