2015: Nyitse solicits support of Benue PDP lawmakers

Nyitse yesterday hosted the lawmakers to a reception in Makurdi where he formally intimated them of his resolve to contest for the position of governor in the forthcoming election.
“I feel that I should come before you to seek your consent and support. You need people’s support to actualise your dream,” Nyitse said.
Responding, the lawmakers who took their turns to speak on behalf of their constituencies assured the guber aspirant of their votes as automatic delegates at the party’s primary election.
The lawmakers eulogised Nyitse’s attributes and antecedent which according to them speaks volumes in the various positions he held over the years in the state civil service saying they raised no objection to his ambition.
