2015: Group insists on Okadigbo’s adoption

Comrade David, who also addressed newsmen, said his group adopted Senator Okadigbo, “because of the way she has positively touched the lives of her constituents”. He added that Senator Okadigbo’s empowerment programme has assisted over 700 people in the district to establish small scale businesses and that she also built health centres which he noted, made health care accessible to the people.
David added that Senator Okadigbo has been paying monthly allowances to 200 people who have no viable means of livelihood in the constituency. He vowed that youth organizations in Anambra North would oppose those plotting to unseat Mrs Okadigbo with “ill-gotten” wealth.  Comrade David warned some youths who he said were plotting with another senatorial aspirant to counter the adoption of Senator Okadigbo in the media to desist from their plan.
  He insisted that his group is the only registered and legal umbrella organization for youths in Anambra-North.
