A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Lawrence Grace Foundation, has empowered 2,000 children in Ajegunle community in Lagos State.

A statement made available to Daily Trust  indicated that Mrs Oluyinka Adewoye, Convener of Lawrence Grace Foundation, hosted 2,000 children in Ajegunle community on Valentine’s Day.

Mrs Adewoye explained that the NGO was set up with the focus on touching lives positively, reaching out to less privileged children and widows in deprived communities.

The foundation also disclosed that it empowered over 1,000 widows and other school children in the last four years with free empowerment trainings, health consultation, drugs, gifts and several other things.
