Twenty years after they started having misunderstanding, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi and the Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade have reconciled and reunited.

The duo called on Nigerians to embrace peace and harmony in a bid to move the country forward.

The Alaafin, who arrived the expansive Ogbomoso palace alongside his wives, Ayaba  Memunat and Folasade Saturday, were ushered into the inner chamber of the wife of the Soun, Ayaba Olaronke Oyewumi.

After their meeting, the Alaafin said he was in Ogbomoso to seek counsel from the nonagenarian monarch, among other issues.

In his remarks, the Soun expressed delight about the visit and revealed that the last time he hosted the Alaafin was about 20 years ago.

The visit lasted for 25 minutes.
