No fewer than 20 hoodlums have been arrested by the Kwara State police command for allegedly looting properties of Kwara Hotel during auctioning.
The newly deployed Police Public Relation Officer of the state command,, Ejire Adetoun Adeyemi, confirmed the arrest on Monday while speaking with City & Crime.
According to her, “on Saturday, over eleven suspects were arrested in connection with the incident but the number has increased now. I will check and get back to you please.
But a security source who confirmed in our correspondent said about 20 hoodlums were rounded up during the looting.

Some of the suspected hoodlums reportedly invaded the hotel on the third day of the auctioning on Saturday looting several properties in the process.
The police had to disperse them with tear gas when the situation was getting more tense.
