The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested two suspected gunrunners allegedly supplying arms to bandits operating in Zaria and environs.
In a statement, ASP Mansir Hassan, spokesman of the command, said, “Operatives from the anti-kidnapping unit successfully intercepted two male suspects in possession of a fabricated AK-47 rifle at Madaci village, Zaria.
“The suspects are Abulaziz Habibu (25) and Nuhu Thomas (25), both residents of Dogon Dawa, Birnin Gwari LGA.

“Their confessions have provided crucial leads, and they are currently cooperating with the police in an ongoing investigation aimed at identifying and apprehending their accomplices.”
