Two permanent secretaries in Zamfara state civil service have died following a brief illness, Daily Trust gathered on Tuesday.
The permanent secretaries are Yawale Dango of the Office of the Head of Service and Ahmed Sale of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
Both have since been buried according to Islamic rites.
In condolence messages on behalf of Governor Matawalle, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Zailani Baffa prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased with the most exalted paradise and give their families the fortitude to bear the loss.
Matawalle described the deceased as hardworking and committed gentlemen who dedicated themselves to the services of their dear state.
