2 notorious cult gang leaders arrested over multiple killings in Lagos

Worried by the frequent violent cult clashes in different parts of Lagos, detectives raided strong hold of the different gangs in the Isolo area of Lagos.

 Two members of the newly formed cult gangs known as Aleeba and Agbara namely Busayo Emmanuel aka Aleeba and Rahman Taiwo aka Agbara were arrested.

 Police source said the dou had been on the command’s wanted list for their involvement in several killings in Isolo and it’s adjoining suburbs .

Hundeyin said their arrest followed an intelligence report gathered, which  revealed that the deadly, notorious, and wanted cultists known as ‘Aleeba’ and ‘Agbara’ had fled from the area after their got wind that detectives were closing in on them.

 He said investigations into the activities of the gang’ members revealed that Aleeba and Agbara allegedly were involved in the killings of rival cult group members and innocent residents during cult related clashes in Isolo.

 He said not relenting, the detectives acting on the directive of the state Police boss, Idowu Owohunwa,  got reliable information that the dou were spotted in their hideouts at Ayoobo and Atan area of Ogun state.

 “Police operatives of the Command swung into action and arrested one Busayo Emmanuel aka Aleeba ‘m’ and Rahman Taiwo aka Agbara ‘m’ both aged 27.

 “Investigation revealed that Aleeba and other suspect are members of a cult group while Aleeba is the second in command of the group. Effort is ongoing to arrest other members of the group” he added.
