A Karu area court in Abuja on Wednesday sentenced two men, Timothy Paul (23) and Godspower Nicodemus (22), to nine months imprisonment each for stealing gym equipment.
The Judge, Ishaq Hassan, however, gave them an option to pay N25,000 fine each and to also pay N317,000 each as compensation.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Olarewaju Osho, told the court that the complainant, Alabi Okubukola, reported that the accused stole his gym equipment worth N952,000.
The prosecutor said that during police investigation, the accused confessed to the crime. (NAN)
