Two men have been arrested for allegedly robbing two commercial sex workers of valuables worth about N2 million in Lagos State.
Lagos State police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed the arrest, said, “The victims alleged that, as commercial sex workers, the suspects picked them up along Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, Bode Thomas, to where they claimed they lodged.
“They claimed that suddenly, they parked and ordered them to surrender their valuables and that in the process they collected two iPhones valued at N1.05m. One Redmi Note 12 valued at N140,000, iPhone XR valued at N240,000.
“The victims also claimed that the suspects compelled them to transfer N25,000 to an account and another N8,000 to the same account.

“The suspects confessed to the crime. During the course of investigation, their operational vehicle, a Toyota Camry, gold colour, with registration number, APP335 JA, along with two blank plate numbers that they use for operation. One of the victims; phones, a Redmi Note 12, was recovered.”
