Two lecturers of Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, Abdullahi Opashola and Adebisi Ademola, have been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ilorin zonal office, over alleged involvement in internet fraud.
A statement by the EFCC mentioned 28 others also accused of the crime.

The statement noted that a herbalist, also alleged to have been involved, is on the run.
“Items recovered from them included cars, phones and laptops among others,” the statement said.
It further said they were arrested at different locations within Kwara State following intelligence gathered by operatives of the commission over their alleged involvement in the offences bordering on internet fraud.
