A driver and one passenger were killed and eight other passengers injured when a bus crashed on the Abaji-Toto road in Abaji Area Council of the FCT.
A witness said the accident happened around 2pm and that it involved a Sharon bus conveying passengers from Nasarawa to Kogi State.
He said the bus collided with a tricycle opposite the police station in Abaji town.

He said, “The bus somersaulted and crashed into a ditch after the collision.”

An official of the FRSC, who preferred anonymity, confirmed the accident, saying the victims were evacuated to the Abaji General Hospital.
