2 killed, 1 injured in Bauchi’s commissioner convoy crash

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the death of two people and the injury of one in multiple motor crashes involving the convoy of the Bauchi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki.

The accident occurred on Wednesday at Miya in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of the state.

Sector Commander of FRSC, Yusuf Abdullahi, told newsmen on Thursday in Bauchi that

the crash involved a Toyota Hilux with registration number  BA18 A08 belonging to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and a Bajaj Boxer motorcycle driven by one Muhammad Mu’awiya. 

Abdullahi said the probable cause of the accident was speed limit violation (SPV) and loss of control (LOC) while the condition of the road was paved.
