A Kano State magistrate’s court has remanded one Usman Sale and his accomplice, Idris Usman, for allegedly disguising as women to rob people of their property, especially mobile phones.
The suspects were arrested after they dressed in women’s clothes and robbed one Tijjani Ibrahim of Madadi village in Gwarzo LGA and charged with a two-count charge of armed robbery and conspiracy after robbing the victim of his two mobile phones and motorcycle valued at N585,700.

The prosecutor said one of the suspects, Usman Sale, was arrested while he was wearing a hijab and attempting to snatch phones.
The Magistrate, Rabi Abdulkadir, ordered the remand of the suspects in a correctional facility and adjourned the case to May 30.
