No fewer than 113 cattle were rustled and two herders injured during a renewed attack around Kpara village in Tahu ward of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The chairman of Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN) in Bassa LGA, Abubakar Abdullahi Buba, who confirmed the development, said six cattle were also shot dead by the rustlers.

He said the attack was launched around 3pm when the herders were going about their normal grazing.
He gave the names of the victims as Abubakar Musa and Inusa Musa.
The spokesperson of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), a multi-security task force maintaining peace in the state, confirmed the incident, explaining that, “Yes, Sector 3 of Operation safe haven has contacted the two groups and some cows have been recovered while amicable settlement is ongoing.
“The different groups have been called upon not to take the law into their hands as efforts are on to arrest perpetrators.”
