Two farmers have been killed while working on their farm by gunmen in the Yangtu Special Development Area of Taraba State.
It was gathered that in the early hours of Tuesday the victims who were from Kpambo village in Ussa LGA went to harvest their crops in Kwambai village, a border town between Ussa LGA and Yangtu Special Development Area.

A source said the killing of the farmers was coming three days after 10 farmers were killed by suspected herdsmen in the same area.
Spokesperson of the Taraba State Police Command, SP Usman Abdullahi, told City & Crime that the command was yet to receive a report on the incident from the DPO in Takum LGA.
