Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested two suspected drug peddlers, Emeka Ozumu (49) and Patrick Otukam (30), with 13 bottles of Codeine, 23 sachets of tramadol and other hard drugs.
The spokesman of the command, SP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the suspects were into the distribution of illicit drugs in the state capital.
He said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Olufemi Abaniwonda, urged youths to shun all forms of crime and also stay away from drug abuse as it was dangerous to their health and also capable of pushing them to commit crime.
