Two children were killed on Tuesday in a petrol tanker accident on Zaria-Kaduna highway.
It was gathered that the petrol tanker lost control and fell in the middle of the highway.

The tanker was immediately engulfed by flames, as its contents split around the vicinity accompanied by the raging fire.
The accident occurred close to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Depot, along the Zaria-Kaduna expressway.
Eyewitnesses and Unit Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Zaria, Abubakar Murabus Tata, said seven persons were in the tanker when the incident happened.
Five persons, according to Tata, were rescued while two children sleeping in the back seat of the tanker were burnt beyond recognition.
The accident caused heavy gridlock on the highway, as the men of the Kaduna State Fire Service, Zaria and sister agencies battled to put out the fire.
The rescued victims are presently receiving treatment at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria, Daily Trust’s findings revealed.
