The police in Bauchi State have arrested two vigilantes for raping a housewife at gunpoint at Dogon-Ruwa village in Ningi Local Government Area (LGA).
The police command also said it arrested another man who sexually assaulted a three-year-old girl at Jimbin village in Ganjuwa LGA.

The spokesman of the command, SP Ahmed Wakil, confirmed the arrests in a statement issued to newsmen on Tuesday.
He said the Ningi police division was alerted by the husband of the woman on the incident.
Wakil said that the Ningi rape occurred on August 25, at about 2am when the suspects, Lawali Sule and Babangida Shehu, conspired and stormed the woman’s matrimonial home armed with Dane guns.
He said that they asked of her husband, who was not at home, threatened her with the guns and had carnal knowledge of her.
Wakil said the victim was evacuated to the General Hospital, Ningi, where it was confirmed that there was penetration.
He added that during investigation, the suspects confessed to the crime.
Wakil said that the two guns were recovered from the suspects.
In the Ganjuwa incident, one Mato Yohannah (27) sexually assaulted a three-year-old girl in Jimbin village.
Wakil said the suspect had confessed that it was the second time he raped a minor. (NAN)
