A Kano High Court has sentenced two men to 10 years imprisonment each without a fine option after they were found guilty of armed robbery.
The convicts, Musa Sale and Bala Kwanar Jaba, were arrested in 2020 after they attacked the residence of one Auwalu Dahiru Na’ibawa and stole his car, two mobile phones and other valuables.

Justice Sanusi Ado Ma’aji, while delivering the judgement, held that the two men conspired to commit the offence.

Counsel to the convicts, Barrister Aliyu Ibrahim, said they may appeal the verdict in view of the evidence they presented during their defence.
