2 arrested for robbing POS operator in Ogun

The police in Ogun State have arrested two suspected people for robbing one Ajose Bilikisu, a Point Of Sale (POS) operator, at gun point.

The duo were arrested following a distress call to Idanyin divisional headquarters in Ado Odo-Ota LGA.

The spokesman of the state command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Sunday, told newsmen that the robbery occurred on Saturday.

Oyeyemi said following the call, the DPO of Idanyin, Olayinka Kuye, led his patrol team to the area and arrested the duo of Balogun Haruna (25) and Imole Noah while two other suspects escaped.

He said the suspects would be transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (CIID) and that the fleeing members of the gang would be hunted and brought to book as soon as possible.
