2 arraigned for stealing church’s musical equipment

Two men, Amadi Uche (24) and Ozoemena Chinedu (25), have were brought before a Yaba magistrates’ court, Lagos, for breaking into a church and stealing musical equipment.

The police told the court that the two invaded Mountain of Fire Church at Ayeligun in Ejigbo and carted away the musical equipment.

The police further told the court that the accused, who were specialists in breaking into churches, also masterminded an attack at the Living Faith Church on Montgomery Road, Sabo, Yaba.

The prosecutor, Rita Momah, said the accused were not lucky during the attack at the church on Montgomery Road as they were arrested and detained at the Yaba Police Station.

The Magistrate, Mrs Adeola Olatunbosun, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
