Two women were on Thursday brought before an Ikeja magistrates’ court for stealing a five-day-old baby.
The police charged Blessing Edet (20) and Blessing Uchenna (35) with conspiracy and theft.

The prosecutor, Insp Lucky Ihieme, told the court that the defendants and some persons at large committed the offence on April 19, at the Maza Maza Motor Park, Lagos State.
Insp Ihieme said the defendants received the stolen baby from one Ms Anthonia Nkiru.
The Magistrate, O. A. Layinka, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N100 each with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to June 21. (NAN)
