An altercation between two cart pushers which led to a brawl in Aba, Abia State, led to their death on Tuesday.
Confirming the incident on Wednesday, the Abia State Police Command said the altercation which degenerated into a fight resulted in the death of one of the cart pushers.

The command’s spokesman, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that following the death of one of the fighters, a mob killed the other, adding that the police had moved their bodies to the mortuary.
SP Ogbonna, therefore, warned people to desist from taking the law into their hands when they had issues.
A witness told newsmen that the cart pushers on Tuesday morning engaged themselves in a fight over who should carry goods purchased by a trader at the Cemetery Market, Aba.
He said the men thereafter engaged in a fight with weapons over the N200 to be received for conveying the goods. (NAN)
