1,999 Lagos pilgrims return

No fewer than 1,999 Lagos pilgrims who performed the 2017 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia have so far returned home.

They were airlifted home in five flights by Med-View Airline PLC beginning from Saturday September 16 when the first flight departed King Abdul-Azeez International Airport, Jeddah with 450 pilgrims and three officials aboard the airline’s B747 aircraft.

The second batch of the pilgrims numbering 326 departed Jeddah Monday and landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) at 11:45 p.m.
